Hands-on gardening and nature based learning is a great way to get outside and get children excited about growing and eating healthy food while having fun! Camp programs include an array of experiential seed to table discovery activities including preparing garden beds, planting, growing, harvesting, tasting, garden art, and learning how our food is connected to other aspects of our natural world.
PEAS ‘Friends in Nature’ Spring and Summer Camps will engage campers (ages 7-12) curiosity outdoors and in the kitchen classroom. Students will participate in the sensory delight of exploring nature and growing and preparing fresh food while getting exercise and having fun! Each camp session includes an array of soil to table games and activities including tending gardens, meeting our trees, outdoor explorations, nature art, planting, growing, harvesting, preparing, eating, and more! Unique activities each week!
